Daisy is such a trooper!

When I say Daisy is such a trooper, it's because she is. You see Daisy is a diabetic, gets two insulin shots per day with each meal, but Daisy has also gone blind due to cataracts. But, don't let this scare you. Daisy is an awesome 8 year old, Red/White Beagle girl, about 28 lbs. who does not let these things get the best of her. Daisy follows the routine as the other dogs do. She goes out with the other dogs, through the doggy door, comes in with the other dogs, has her play time with the cat, and knows how to get around the house.

Daisy is house trained, crate trained and gets along great with dogs and cats, and rides very well in the car. Daisy is a barker so she probably wouldn't do well in an apartment/condo.

Daisy is a special needs dog, but is not needy. She keeps up with the other dogs and likes to get her share of love too.

So, if you're looking for a great Beagle that would be a wonderful addition to any family, please consider adopting Daisy. Don't adopt her because you feel sad for her, adopt her because you want to add a dog to your family, one that is super sweet, kind, happy and will give you many, many years of love. You will be rewarded with Daisy.

Daisy is a quick learner and I feel she'll get to know her new home just fine. And as her foster mom, I'll always be available if there are questions or concerns.

Daisy is waiting for you!

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
