I'm Tootsie and I'm looking for a furever home! I was a breeder dog from southern Illinois, but now I'm living my best life in the big city. The dog parks here are thrilling, but I can't partake because I just got spayed on April 30. I've gotta let my stitches heal. So far, so good.

I now enjoy sitting on a yoga mat and watching Netflix. But I have a wild side. I get sooooo excited by new things. I must have lived in a crate/kennel until now because everything makes me frantically wag my tail, and sometimes even let out a bark. (The TV blows my mind!) And I LOVE HUMANS!

My forbidden loves include nibbling (not biting) on laptop cords, shredding paper and staking out the refrigerator. I don't destroy things. I mostly just put them in my mouth and roll them around or move objects around the house, especially anything that resembles string (like a purse strap, shoelace or leash).

I'm trying to nail down this potty training thing. My new family will need to be patient with me. I'm make great progress in just 2 weeks, but it will take some time!

I am a bit needy. I follow my foster mom everywhere! When we walk, I don't even look forward, I just look adoringly up at her which has caused me to wipe out a few times. (I'm getting better though!)

Once, I napped on the bed with my foster mom and it was glorious! However, I usually sleep on the carpet next to her bed now. I don't jump on the couch either.

I have some separation anxiety. If you are in an apartment with persnickety neighbors, we might have a problem. It's not you, it's me.

I'm medium energy, but I can crank it up to high energy.

My foster sister is a slightly dominant 14-year-old beagle and sometimes we tussle (mostly for my foster mom's attention), but we mostly get along. I love all the dogs in my apartment building and on the street. Everyone remarks that I am so friendly.

Thanks for reading my dating profile! Please contact my foster mom if you have any other questions!
