Hi, my name is Layla. I am a super sweet laid back kind of girl. I’m very loving and like to greet everyone I meet. I follow foster mom everywhere she goes. When she sits down I am right by her side so she can pet me. I get along well with the other dogs here and like to play with them. Sometimes I get really silly and start running around the house and tossing my toys around.

I am house trained and crate trained. I stay in the crate when foster mom isn’t home.At night I sleep on a doggie bed in the bedroom.I have short little legs so I’m not able to get up on the couch or bed without help. Foster mom picks me up and puts me on the couch and I really enjoy cuddling with her. Despite my little legs I am determined to get on that kitchen counter were all those good smells are coming from. I try hard but so far haven’t been able to reach it.

I like going for walks but cars make me nervous. I most likely have never been on busy streets. Of course, being a beagle my nose is to the ground and I can get stubborn when I catch a good scent.

I am on the quieter side and don’t bark very much. Usually if the other dogs start barking I will join in or when playing with them, but that’s about the only time I bark.

Contact your adoption counselor if you would like to know more about me.
