Hello!!! My name is Paisley. I’m a beagle/basset girl between 5 and 7 years old. I weigh just over 30 lbs.

I’ve been with my foster family for a little over a month now. I came to them straight from animal control. A very nice officer there rescued me from a bad situation, but I didn’t let that get me down. My foster mom keeps telling me that she’s impressed how resilient I am. I don’t know what that means but I don’t care as long as she keeps rubbing my belly!

My favorite things are scaring squirrels out of the backyard, trying to get my foster brother beagle to chase me and snuggling on the couch at night while we all watch tv. Because of things that happened to me before, my back legs aren’t as strong as they should be. I get around fine, but if you are looking for a running companion or live in a home with a lot of stairs, I might not be the beagle for you. It would be great if you had a fenced yard - - moving often helps keep me from getting stiff.

I like other dogs and it would be great if I had a new home with a dog or two. If you don’t, but people would be around me a lot of the time, that would be ok too. I am very social and like having company. I haven’t been around kids or cats since I came here, but I think I’d like them. Especially kids.

I am 100% house broken – zero accidents. I don’t chew on things or dig holes. I’m not a big barker – although I do complain a lot when my foster parents leave the house!

I have TONS of love to give and am ready to find my forever family. My foster mom told me not to tell anyone, but she says I am the Best Foster Beagle EVER! So give her a call and maybe we’ll be a match!
