Gender: Female Age: 6 years Status: Adopted

My name is Marigold, possibly the most well-behaved beagle in the world, according to my foster mom. I am a beautiful 6-year-old gal who doesn't bark and is not food motivated. (I might get my beagle card revoked!)

I was found as a stray this summer. They found my owner, but he didn't want me because I didn't hunt. Then, I almost drowned in a flood when my temporary foster home was overwhelmed with water from a nearby creek. I crossed two state lines and have been in my new foster home for about a month and I have been able to get healthy (I had kennel cough!) and learn how to be a house beagle!

I am potty trained and I am so good! I get along with all dogs at the dog park and in the apartment building. I live with a very grumpy 14.5-year-old beagle and it's cool.

My foster mom thinks I was hit because I cower when she makes sudden movements toward me, but all I want is to be with her and loved. I'm so friendly and every day, I'm less skittish!

While I am a top contender for "World's Best Beagle," I did have one incident that even surprised my foster mom. When she wasn't home, I completely destroyed her full pot of petunias on the balcony. I don't know what got into me, but it's worth mentioning so you remember that I *AM* A BEAGLE.

Please let my foster mom know if you want more information about me!
