Gender: Female Age: 2 - 3 years Status: Adopted

Oh, Baby! She is an amazing mixture of sweetness and spice. She loves cuddling, pets, and hanging out just as much as she loves sniffing and exploring, chasing squirrels, and CLIMBING. She really surprised her foster family at her prowess in getting over the backyard fence. And she's just an average-sized beagle.

Baby is 2-3 years old. She is friendly with people and other dogs. She is housetrained, very good at going potty on leash, and good in the car. She isn't a chewer or particularly naughty but would benefit from some basic obedience training for commands and for not pulling on the leash.

She would probably not be a good apartment dog as she is something of a barker when she feels the need. She loves sniffing around the back yard but will of course need to be observed if she figures out how to climb the fence. (We're not sure what kind of fence would defy her skills; we know she can do wire and certain wood fencing.)

We think Baby will be a devoted companion. She makes such effective use of her baleful beagle eyes that you want to cuddle her even after she's been caught sleeping on the off-limits sofa yet again.
