Barney the Beagle.

Bonnie is about 12 years old and all of 15 pounds, but don't let her size and age fool you. She's fit, strong, and has plenty of energy! Bonnie doesn't shy from leading her foster sister on a mad dash around the house, and she's happy to hop up on all manner of soft furniture when she's done. She's sweet and friendly, with a tail that rarely stops wagging.

If you're looking for a companion who's always at your side, Bonnie may be the beagle for you. She loves attention and will sit to be petted as long as you're willing to indulge her. When it's time for her to rest, Bonnie loves to snuggle up to one of her people for a good, sound sleep.

Bonnie shares her foster home with an 11-year-old female beagle and two cats. She plays nicely with the resident beagle (you should see them chase each other around the house!) and shows no interest in the cats. She's not at all destructive, and she's exceptionally quiet. Bonnie is fine-tuning her housetraining. She's crated during the day, and she keeps her crate completely clean and dry. She potties outside with no problem, but she's still learning how to communicate that she needs to go out.

If you would like to know more about Bonnie, contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
