Help Wanted: Foster Homes Desperately Needed
- Do you love dogs?
- Do you want to learn more about the beagle breed?
- Do you have space, time and energy for another dog?
- Do you enjoy training and teaching dogs basic manners?
- Are you up for some unconditional love?
- Are you ready for a challenge?
- Do you want to save a life?
We receive pleas on a daily basis from shelters, animals control officers, vet offices and the general public asking for assistance in placing beagles in need. Most of the time, the request for assistance is the dogs last chance…and if we can’t help because of our lack of foster homes, the beagle usually find his/her life on the line. Unfortunately, we NEVER have enough foster homes. Please consider becoming a Midwest BREW foster home and experience the joy of saving one beagle at a time in your own home. What a wonderful way to teach your family and friends about giving back and making the world a better place. The average stay for a beagle in a foster home is two to three months. Some beagles take longer to place and some are placed shortly after arriving at their foster home. These sweet little hounds are depending on you to help them in their time of need…will you be there to provide a temporary home, love, and guidance until their “FOREVER” home is found?
Midwest BREW does not operate a kennel or shelter, so foster homes are critically important to the work we do. Click on the links in the box on the right to learn more about fostering and to complete our volunteer application to become a foster home for a beagle in need.
