Hey Beagle Lovers! Are you looking for a young pup to brighten your days and keep you on the move? Well, you’ve come to the right place! My name is Abby Rose, and I am about 10 months old. I was born on 9-22-19. I am the cutest bundle of baby Beagle energy you have ever seen! Foster Mom has been teaching me all about being a house pet, and whew! It is a lot of work! But I am learning, and getting better at it!

I would love to have a fenced in yard, so that I can keep busy all day long. I love to roll in the grass, play in the warm sun, and chase the birds and rabbits out of the yard. I do bark a lot at the neighbors, and the squirrels, and the birds, and the wind, and the … well, you get the picture! I’m still a puppy, so apartment living probably isn’t for me. I am still working on that potty training thing, so a fenced yard will help with that too.

I have shown some guarding issues with my toys and food, and can sometimes get a little nippy. My foster family is working on that, but for now being an only dog would be best. I have some separation anxiety when my foster family leaves and I am in my crate. I bark and bark until someone comes and gets me. We are working on that too, but gosh! I just want to be with my peoples! When I take a rest in my crate but can hear my humans, I am fine.

Midwest BREW says that this is all fixable with time and training, and is very typical of a Beagle puppy. And I thought I was so unique! I have come a long way already, and am learning some manners! Even though I play hard, I love my naps too! I am not really a lap dog, but love to snuggle in beside you and be close to you. I love my daily walks, and a car ride is always a great adventure! I am mostly a good girl; and I want to be YOUR girl! Please contact Midwest BREW to find out more about me- the spunky, spirited, beautiful Abby Rose!

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
