Benjamin Wisehart: I hope you feel better Connor. Our sweet Joli has Cushings Disease and would like to donate this to Connor in her honor. On behalf of Susan Purichia. Yury Gimburg: In memory of Bekka.

Meet Connor, a 12 year young Beagle Basset mix. He is a quiet gentle giant and an attentive teddy bear ready to shower you with love.

Connor is an excellent companion. He will not make a peep. He just looks at you with his huge beautiful eyes just asking to be loved and have some of your attention. It can be a head pat, ear scratch or just a good brushing.

He gets along with other furbabies and people but he would rather have a chance to have his own one on one person.

He loves to go out for walks and potties great on leash. He does stumble at times but that doesn’t seem to faze him.

He rides well in a car. He just lies and goes to sleep. He is a very good boy and does not need to be crated. He can be left alone for about 4 hours without needing to go out.

You will need to be attentive to his motions to let him out to relieve himself. He does not “talk” to let you know when he needs to go.

Connor likes his own space under a bed or table when life gets too busy. Connor is mostly a couch potato except when he wants a little love from his humans.A home on the quieter side will be ideal for him.

Connor was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease which is controlled with medication. The cost of his prescription is approximately $120 a month. He also requires lab work every 6-8 months to make sure his dosage is correct.

Contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor if you want to learn more about this sweet boy.
