Happy Holidays Everyone. I am named after the holidays, as in Holly, because I am a beautiful and special Lemon Tri-colored beagle girl. I bring lots of joy to my foster mom with my soulful eyes and companionship. I really love to be adored with kisses and having all the petting I want. I am a smaller beagle and they think I am around 7 years old.

I follow my foster mom everywhere, but I also am an escape artist. I’m one of those beagles who will try to run out of the door. There’s just so much to sniff outside. My new family will have to watch me carefully near doors.

I do like all the resident dogs and even the cats. I like doggy treats, but when it comes to food I am not your typical beagle.

Because life was not that great starting out, I don’t stray too far from my foster mom. Well, unless there is an open door. I was used as a breeder dog, but now I have a life of my own. I have a big part of my ear missing, probably from a dog bite. Even with all that happened to me, I am as sweet as can be.

I am still working on house training, although I am a fast learner. I just need a little more practice, patience, and time. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and unlike many beagles, do not pull. Also, I do well in the crate.

I am looking for an adoring and loving family, who will be ever watchful for my escape artist routine. Are you that special family?

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
