Hi Everybody:

I’m Ashleigh and well I’m a young beagle puppy girl.  Foster mom says I am beautiful and I agree with her.  So even when I’m doing something wrong, like eating ANOTHER piece of mulch, she can’t yell at me too much.  But she does take it out of my mouth.  Too bad for her, there is a lot more where it came from and I can always go get another piece unless she redirects me to something else to do.

I am working on housetraining and am getting pretty good at going potty outside.  I go into my crate when foster mom has errands to run.  I get a thing called a kong filled with treats.  It is yummy.  I also sleep in the crate at nighttime for about 8 hours and keep it nice and clean.  I get up with foster dad and the other dogs and go right outside to go potty.  Then it’s time for breakfast.  Foster mom says I inhale my food.  I can’t help it, it’s so good.

There are many dogs here in my foster home and I play with all of them except for the old grouchy guy.  He just growls at me and I back away.  But I do tell him with a tiny bark that he is not being nice.  Whatever to him.

Foster mom has a LOT of toys and hooves that I play with all the time. They are kept in baskets and by the end of the day I have them all pulled out everyday.   I play until I get so tired and then I take a nap until it’s time to do it all over again.

Because I am so young I could do with some training.  Foster mom says I am smart so I would be a great learner.

Would you be that forever home that wants to train a beautiful young beagle girl to be the perfect beagle for you?

Love and kisses

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
