Gender: Male Age: 10 months Status: Adopted

Hi!!  I’m a cute and wiggly beagle boy named Uno and I’m around 10 months old. My name is Uno because I only have one eye that works. When my doctor checked me over, he said that since it doesn’t bother me he will just leave it alone.  But having only one eye to see out of doesn’t slow me down one bit!

In the morning my favorite thing to do is EAT. Next, I have a little playtime. I am still learning which toys are mine, but for the most part I’m very good at only chewing up my rope toy and stuffed animals. I am still a pup and my foster dad laughs because I like to get into EVERYTHING! I don’t mind being by myself, but if I had a canine sibling that would be great!

I’m VERY social and I have a great personality!  I love people and dogs of any age or size. I go to doggy camp to make friends and I also love hanging out with my canine buds next door. I do well in the car, I am learning my leash manners and I love to run around my fenced yard!

I am getting good at going out to do my business but I still need help being reminded on occasion.

Overall, I’m very quiet and content, unless I have to go to my room.  I hate being away from my people so I must bark until they come back.

After a busy day, I climb up into the big bed and I fall asleep next to my foster dad and dream about what exciting things I might get to do tomorrow.  Maybe sooon I will be meeting you and will become your little boy.  I may only have one eye, but I can make your family grow by four feet!

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy
