Jordy came from Kentucky where he was picked up as a stray. We don't know anything about his history except that the humans in his life were not kind so he has had a difficult time learning to trust. After two weeks he has begun to come to me for attention. Part of the problem could be that his vision is not very good. We're not sure exactly what he sees but he does not see clearly. He gets around the house very well and has learned the doggy door and getting from the deck to the yard and back to the house. That is the reason he needs a fenced yard.

Another result of his low vision is that he is scared of loud noises. They will send him back to the bedroom where he considers himself safe. Strangers coming to the house will send him back there also. Jordy is very quiet and in two weeks he has not made a sound. He seems to like being around my beagle but they do not play.

When he came into Midwest BREW he was skinny so he really does like his food but he doesn't know anything about treats.  Jordy is probably 8 to 10 years old and 35 pounds. He does look like he as a bit of basset hound in him.  He has been spending his nights on my bed and sleeps the whole night through.

This special boy has come such a long way and is now needing a quiet home where he can continue his journey to being the loving and trusting boy he was meant to be.

If you think you can provide Jordy with the loving home he deserves, please contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor.
