Sponsored By: Anonymous donor: Honoring pledge for Tua rescue. Thank you so much!! Aloha, Tua here. No, not the Tua of Bama fame, and unfortunately not a Tua from Hawaii. But Ohio was a pretty cool place to hang out, until I became lost. But thankfully Midwest BREW came along and saved me. First things first: I am the BEST snuggler ever. I just love to lie in your lap and let you rub me for as long as you want to; but I am a nervous boy. Any noise or sound makes me jump. So things I need in my new home are, a fenced yard, as I am pretty bad and skittish on a leash or tie out. Foster dad highly suggests walking me with one leash on my harness and one leash on my collar. All about my safety. I am a speedy little boy too. I also need a 4 legged buddy in the house to help me feel comfortable and safe. I have really gravitated to my foster brother, and will follow him around. Check out the picture where I invaded his space, hee, hee. And unfortunately, no young kids in my family to be. Too much noise and commotion would make me too nervous. A quieter home is best. I am house trained, and my foster parents give me the run of the house when they are gone. For some reason I have decided I do not like being crated anymore. I ride really well in the car. I am nervous around my foster dad. I have jumped into my foster grandpa, and foster uncle’s lap, but when it comes to my foster dad, I am not as big of a fan, but I have gotten better with him. But if he does sit by me to give me some loving, I don’t run away from that!!!! One of the recliners in the living room is my safe place, but I have been told I can’t bring it with me to my new home LOL. I am very comfortable with my foster mom. Overall I am a very sweet boy, but will need some time and help to adjust to a new home. My foster parents can talk to you about what I am like and what I will need to help me adjust. So for now I will just be hanging loose waiting for my furever home. Love Tua NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). |
