Dobby is a 1 1/2 year old beagle. He is about around 17 inches tall and weighs 31 pounds so he is a tall and lean beagle boy.  As you can see from his pictures, he is very handsome. 

Dobby doesn't have a mean bone in his body.  He is very friendly.  He is good with everyone he meets and has been gentle with the children he has met.  He has a lot of energy and loves to run around and play with toys. He hasn't chewed up anything other than the bones and toys we gave him to play with.   

He loves to look out the window and will bark if he sees something outside.  He follows his nose so it would be good if he had access to a fenced in yard. He is great on a leash and loves to go on long walks. 
 
Like most beagles, Dobby loves to eat! He is very food motivated and will sit and lay down for a treat.  He sleeps in a crate at night. At first, we had the crate in our family room but he cried and barked because he didn't want to be left alone. Once we moved the crate into our bedroom he was happy and quiet.   

He has lots of love to give and hopes to find his forever home soon.
