Hi Everyone! Would you believe they call me Pipsqueak? Maybe because I am just a tiny little thing. Mostly they call me Pip or Pippy though. I came to Midwest BREW from a shelter at only 8 weeks old! It was very frightening for a while, but I’m doing great now.I am growing like a weed, and learning every day, but I’ll always be a small girl; my foster mom thinks maybe I’m a Beagle/Chihuahua mix.

Foster mom also says I am a strong little tot; a powerhouse! And also very smart. I am almost house trained, I listen pretty well for a puppy, and I am crate trained at night. During the day I get the run of the house and haven’t gotten into much trouble (yet!) I am pretty good in the car, too, tethered or crated!

I get along great with the other dogs here, and I love to wrestle and play with them. I love a good game of chase, and I don’t care if I am the one being chased, or the one doing the chasing. Sometimes I just like to run for the sake of running! I haven’t been around cats yet, but I am young enough that I can be trained to be friends with them- or at least to tolerate each other! I do think a home with older kids, or no kids would be best, because I have those little sharp razor puppy teeth, and I don’t want to accidently hurt someone!

I am just a tiny bundle of energy, but when it is time to rest, I am and absolute love bug who wants to cuddle! I am looking for that forever home that has some time and energy to match mine and is willing to love and cuddle me as well as teaching me the rules of the world! Is that you?

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy
