Mavis * Popular Good with DogsPotties on a leashHousetrainedLikes to ride in the car
Gender: Female Age: 7 years Status: Adopted

Mavis is a 7 year old, super sweet, cute, little girl weighing only 20 pounds.  She is incredibly loving to everyone in her foster home and regularly offers up hugs and kisses and curls up next to them on the couch or in bed.  She likes to be with her people and be warm and under blankets. She loves belly rubs!

Mavis is potty trained and does well in a fenced yard.  She likes to go on walks and does great on leash without pulling.  Mavis is a quiet, gentle girl.  She doesn't bark or howl much unless she hears certain noises or feels compelled to join the beagle choir of the other resident beagles.

Mavis is patient waiting for her food and enjoys mealtime.  She really likes treats and gets excited when they come out.  She loves all kinds of treats including peanut butter, snausages and pupperoni.  Mavis gets along great with the resident dogs, ages 13 and 5, and occasionally will try to engage them to play with her.  She also enjoys the attention she gets from her human brother and sister, ages 12 and 9.

Mavis would love a home where she has gets lots of human attention, cuddles and belly rubs.  She would enjoy a home where she can go on walks, have a warm bed to sleep in with her people and most importantly a family that will love her forever.

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
