Rosco * Popular Good with DogsPotties on a leashHousetrainedCrate TrainedNot good in apartments
Gender: Male Age: 7 years Status: Available

Rosco is a petite little boy, about 22 pounds and about seven years old, who likes to have fun! He might be a beagle/dachshund mix, not only with his smaller size and delicate little face, but with his big personality. You know when he is in the room, not because he is loud but because he just has a presence!

He is as cute as can be and is house and crate trained. He doesn’t like being left alone but will tolerate it for a short while if it is necessary, though he will use his good acting skills to get the neighbors to wonder what is happening to the poor pooch. Therefore no apartments or condos need apply. He had several teeth removed when he came into the rescue but he has recovered wonderfully and he does not have any problems eating his food.

He is very good on the leash, does not pull at all. He likes walks but also likes to play indoors so maybe one walk a day and trips outside for potty are enough outside exercise. He would do well with a play buddy about his size. He gets along living with a big dog but is a little intimidated by size and would rather try to get his foster cats interested in play since they are closer to his size. Problem is, they don’t want to. Rosco loves a window to look out of and does enjoy quiet time on the couch with you too. He loves massages and chin scratches. He will love to share your bed with you at night. All in all, Rosco would do well in a home with activity going on that he is part of. He is very interested in whatever is going on or in watching the antics of cats, but he may do better in a home without them for the sake of the cats unless they are the type who might appreciate his interest. He will be the sweetest little friend for life for you, just an adorable little guy.

If you think Rosco is the guy you’ve been looking for, please contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor for more info.
