Gender: Male Age: 5 years Status: Adopted

Hi, I’m Billy! I am a 5 year old 25lb cute boy looking for my forever home!  I look like I have some basset hound in me as I have droopy ears and have a longer body. Foster Mom says I am the sweetest and snuggliest boy. I love to curl up with a blanket when it’s naptime. At night I like to sleep with my foster mom and dad underneath the covers.

Besides snuggling and getting pets, my favorite thing to do is play fetch with a tennis ball.  My human 7 year old foster sister and I play fetch everyday in the backyard. We also run around the yard together, I love her so much.

Walks are fun too! I have a beagle nose and like to keep my nose to the ground to pick up any scents. I do pull on a leash but we are working on it and I’m getting better.  I will potty on a leash too.

I get along with my four legged foster sister and like to play with her. I would do ok being the only dog too.

I live with 2 cats right now. I am very interested in one of them. It would be best if I go to a home with no cats as sometimes I’m just too interested in them.

I am a good passenger in the car. I either lie down and take a nap or just look out the window. I have been known to counter-surf so you will need to keep any food on the counters pushed back.

I am fine when my foster family leaves. I do not care for the crate. Since I’m housetrained they keep an eye on me with their security camera. I lie on the chair by the front window and keep an eye on the neighborhood. I usually fall asleep after a little while. I do the same thing when they are home and will alert them if a dog walks by but I settle down after the dog passes. I just have to let them know!

If you have room in your home for a house trained, friendly, fun-loving, goofy boy please let your adoption counselor know!
