Hi everyone! Gunner here!
I came to Midwest BREW because my owners couldn't take care of me and my brother, Asher any longer.  Along with the three children in my first home, imagine two puppies being too much energy!!!  That is how we ended up with Midwest BREW.  That's OK foster mom promises us she will find us a great forever home.

Looking for a fun boy, we'll then look no further.  I am an almost nine-month-old puppy and full of energy and fun.

At the foster house, I have my own real brother, Asher, along with a foster sister and a foster brother.  I play from the time I wake up until night just about.  I run through the fenced in yard at my foster home like a crazy boy foster mom says.  I chase my brother, Asher, and he chases me (foster mom says we are like Tigger and barely touch the ground when running) until we just about are ready to fall over, then it's time for a nap in our crate.

Foster mom gives us all kinds of hooves, chews, and toys throughout the day so we don't get into trouble and chew inappropriate things.

We are crated overnight and for naps.  When we get up in the morning at 7:00 am for breakfast and go potty outside, we eat quickly because we are growing puppies.  Then back to bed in our crate until around 9:30 am and then it's up to play, play, play.  And then nap.  And then play, and then nap.  Well, you get the picture.  Bedtime is 11:00 pm and we sleep through the night in our crate.  We get up and repeat the same wonderful thing everyday.  When I am tired, I like to curl up against my foster mom and take a nap.  I am a love bug as well.

So once again if you are looking for a fun boy, it's me, Gunner.

Note from foster mom: An ideal home for Gunner would be where he gets lots of walks or lots of playtime in his new home/yard.    Gunner would do well with a basic obedience class since he is so young and will learn easily.  A basic training class would be great for his new owner to bond with him as well.

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
