Juliana Garay: In honor of Elizabeth Harvey's birthday and her love for beagles.

I'm Nestle and I'm as sweet as my name. I love snuggling up with you and I love other dogs and kids. I'm only 4 months old so I am full of puppy energy. I am learning to play with doggie toys and I really like chewy toys!

I spent my whole life outside so sleeping in a crate at night is new to me. I cry a little then settle right down.  For daytime naps i prefer the couch or my doggie bed. Since I'm still a sweet baby I do get nervous when my human is out of my sight. Following you everywhere gives me comfort as much as your snuggles.

I'm a smart boy too. I learned how to use the doggie door in one day! I'm not so sure about that leash though it's still a little scary. I will need some training and patience to get used to walking on the leash.

I'm only 15 pounds but I love to run and play with all sizes of dogs, I'm all about playing and playing hard!

I'm still working on house training and will need your help and continued training. I'm learning lots of new things at once and a confident fur brother or sister would be a great teacher for me.

I lived outside with my brother so I'm used to having a buddy around. I'm a little shy with people at first but I warm right up and I'm good with kids too!

My brother Hershey is also available for adoption in case you want to double the amount of love and adopt both of us!

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
