Hi! My name is Leo and I am a 9 month old adorable chocolate, yellow eyed, beagle looking for my forever home. I am just full of love, cuddles, and joy. My foster momma and daddy say I’m such a good boy. I love to chew on socks and anything fun looking so my foster parents are teaching me what I can chew on like my toys and bully sticks. I’m just so curious, I want to learn about everything!

I’m pretty good at potty training, I must be reminded occasionally to go outside when I start to sniff around the house but otherwise, I’m great. I love to play with my foster beagle sister Dixie and do zoomies around the yard. I am crated if my fosters leave the house, but I know that I’m still a puppy and it’s for my own safety! I don’t mind it for a few hours, but my fosters haven’t left me for longer than 2 hours. I cry a little when they leave but am calm upon their return. I really am such a good and sweet boy. I haven’t quite found my bark yet so I am quiet or will whimper when I’m happy or excited. I LOVE to cuddle and will curl up to my foster family when they watch TV or when it’s bedtime.

I would prefer a home with another doggie friend to keep me company and I would do best in a home that doesn’t leave me alone all day. I haven’t met any cats, but I think I would be OK with them. I walk nicely on leash although I do get scared when I see big trucks driving by, cars parked near driveways, or hear loud dogs barking, but I am learning that it’s ok.

I am very good with my foster human siblings (ages 7-14), so I would be good in a home with older kids too, as I love to spread cuddles with them. So, if you are looking for a handsome, cuddly, sweet, and adorable beagle to raise and adore, won’t you pick me? Please reach out to Midwest BREW if you think your family could love me furever.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
