Gender: Female Age: 2 years Status: Adopted
Breed:
Beagle / Toy Fox Terrier

We can’t understand why this sweet, gorgeous girl ended up as an unclaimed stray at a shelter. Indie is around two years old and weighs 33 pound and she is beautiful!  We just received her DNA analysis and she is mostly Beagle and Toy Fox Terrier, so it's no surprise that she is such a good looking gal!

Sometimes Indie takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s as friendly as can be. Her foster mom says that once she gets to know you, she’ll always be at your side!

Indie is a medium-energy dog who gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, but she seems to prefer hanging out with humans. She does well with children, but because she’s been known to jump up for attention, she’ll need to be supervised around younger children.

Indie will need a home with a confident dog whose lead she can follow in getting acclimated to her new environment. She can be timid when walking on a leash, so her new family will need to help her to become more comfortable on walks.

She has been given the run of the house with other dogs in her foster home and has done well. She’s not fond of being crated and would do best in a family where someone is home most of the time. She knows how to use the doggie door at her foster home and seems to be housebroken (with access to doggie door). With a family that is loving and patient and a canine sibling to show her the ropes in her new home, Indie will make a great companion.
