Carol Booth: Prayers for health as you battle your rare condition. Anonymous: Get better, Al! We hope you find your furever home soon! Kristen Malecki: Get well sweet Al!! Susan Brady: Get healthy soon. Love you and all the Beagles. Cindy Morin. Debbie Roberts: Wishing Al a speedy recovery!

Al is a very friendly hound mix that is active. He LOVES to play with the other dogs. He cuddles just as hard as he plays. He’s working on his house training but is doing great with that. He will go to the door and cry when he needs to go out. He is also crate trained. He eats in his crate, stays in there when his foster family is gone during the day and also sleeps in there at night. He is an active puppy so it may be a good idea to take him to puppy kindergarten to teach him the basics. So far he has just learned sit and he will go into his kennel willingly. He is also good with nail trims and will do anything for a treat!!

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
