Penny and her brother ended up in a rural shelter and Midwest Brew saved them both. Penny is being fostered with her foster parents and 3 senior beagles. Penny is a beautiful girl with gold eyes. She is approximately 1 year old and weighs 23 pounds. She is a happy and fun loving girl and loves to get out in the back yard and do zoomies. She also loves a game of fetch and loves chasing the ball but we are working on her bringing it back. She loves toys and throws them in the air and catches them. Her daily walk is the highlight of her day. Like most beagles her nose stays on the ground. We have taught her to sit for a treat.

She is completely house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She’s not had a single accident since she has been here.

She sleeps in a crate by the bed at night but has the run of the house while foster parents are at work. Their house is puppy proof but she will steal socks, sandals, combs, etc.

Penny misses playing with and snuggling with her brother and would love another doggie to play with. She would love to live with an active family.
