Gender: Female Age: 5 months Status: Adopted

Hallie is an absolutely adorable 5 month old female puppy currently weighing 16 pounds. She is very sweet and full of puppy energy. She loves to chase and run with Roxy (also available for adoption) who is 2 years old. They wrestle, run and "exchange" (grab and chase) toys with each other several times a day. They also go outside together and curl up and cuddle with each other during naps.

Hallie is feisty, playful and loves all sorts of toys including ping pong balls, chew toys and stuffed squeaky toys. She will gladly engage in tug, chase after a ball or chew on a bone. Watch out for your shoes because she loves those too! Hallie is still very much in a teething stage and will need lots of toys and healthy things to chew on.

Hallie likes to be outside sitting in the sun, gathering and chewing sticks and digging holes. She also likes to take full advantage of getting into mischief with Roxy when the opportunity presents itself. Hallie loves to be with people and other dogs. She enjoys walks and is working on potty training. She sleeps through the night and enjoys sleeping next to her people or other resident dogs.

Hallie would make a wonderful addition to a family with a dog needing a playmate. She would do best in a home that gives her regular exercise to burn off her energy, is dedicated to training, will enjoy all her goofy puppy ways and most importantly love her forever.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
