Penny Popper is A Joy!
Debbie Evans
Dear Midwest BREW,
I do not have adequate words to express how grateful we are for the help of all the volunteers at Midwest BREW. We have had the most wonderful experience every step of the way. The entire process was smooth and exactly as stated on the website. We were helped along the way with not only your expert guidance but I appreciate how we were updated in a very timely fashion. Elsa who did the phone interview, Tracey with the home visit, and Dianna and her husband Dave were awesome and so easy to talk with. Everyone’s love of beagles was very apparent.
Each person we interacted with was helpful, kind, compassionate, and
knowledgeable.
Penny Popper, now Penelope, (with Pennie as her nickname which we will use) is a joy! She is such a good girl! She is sweet, gentle, and a
happy and content girl. We love her dearly and will cherish her always.
Please let everyone know how much we appreciate Midwest BREW volunteers!
Thank you again for everything!

Beau/Bo is Fitting in Nicely
Robert
Hi there! Just wanted you to know Bo had his first vet visit yesterday afternoon and I got heartworm and flea and tick preventative for him, which will start on May 1st. Oh, and he’s great in the car.
Also, Bo went to the daycare where I send Archie, my other beagle, and he did great! They do an assessment before they are allowed to stay, and he got an A+. So, I’ll be sending him with Archie a couple times a week for play and socialization.
Other than that, things are going well. He seems to have adjusted quickly. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house and he and Archie play all day when they’re not sleeping. I’m also doing his DNA because I’m curious to see what he’s mixed with.
Thanks again and I hope all is well with you.

Penny & Poppy
Marianne Janesku
I adopted Penny and Poppy in 2023 as a bonded pair. Penny and Poppy have their own personalities as well as similarities. They keep each other company, play together, and sleep together curled up tightly.
In the evening, it is wonderful that my husband and I each have a dog on our laps. We wouldn’t have it any other way. One beagle is never enough!

A Dream Come True
Pam and Mike (and Franny) Kalinosky
This adoption has been a dream come true – thank you and all at Midwest BREW!
Meeting up with Amy and family was great. She (Amy) is a keeper! So devoted and personable and just a swell gal.
We met “Tanner” (new name still up in the air) on Monday late in the day then came over on Tuesday to take him home. A darling on the 5 hour ride home, we took turns driving and holding him. Had him meet our Franny dog
(Labrador) in the park, then walked them home, Franny welcomed him into the house and they’ve been playing, really well. It is simply wonderful how well they’re getting along. Just terrific.
We know he’s had quite an “adventure” so far in his life and hope to give him the stability of a good, secure home with lots of love, attention and care.
THANK YOU, Sue and everyone at Midwest BREW for making this possible for us.

Siara (now Coco)
Rosie Klepper
I wanted to thank you and all the people at Brew for finding Siara (now Coco) for me. I adopted my first beagle from you and she was a delight, I knew I wanted to return to Brew the moment I was ready to adopt again.
I laud you and your network of volunteers who work so hard to help these deserving beagles. I especially like that you have the beagles in foster homes. I feel this gives the beagles time to be part of a household, which will help in finding their furever homes.
Thanks again, Coco is improving each day.
