Tributes From Our Adopters

In Praise of Beagles

So You Think You Want a Beagle

By Ross Cortino

Welcome, dear friend, to Midwest BREW’s happy place,
Where Beagles find love, a warm embrace.

Beagles, little bundles of delight,
Medium in size, yet hearts so bright.
With short-haired coats, so easy to groom,
Their playful presence lights up a room.

In family circles, they reign supreme,
With kids and pets, they’re a dream team.
A Beagle’s bark is pure joy to hear,
With loyalty strong and love so dear.

They sniff out fun with noses keen,
On grassy lawns or streets unseen.
Their eyes, like amber, tell sweet tales,
Of backyard games and windy trails.

So, if you think you like a Beagle’s charm,
Know that here at Midwest BREW there’s a joyful calm.
We take great pride in the love we share,
Giving Beagles the best of care.

Join us, dear friend, in this loving quest,
For every Beagle deserves the very best.
With Midwest BREW, let’s make a promise true,
To give each Beagle a home, a family, and a view.

“My name is Paul Bast. My wife, Diane, and I have adopted two beagles so far from your wonderful organization. I thought you might enjoy this song I wrote for one of my beagles who used to greet Diane with a little dance every time she came home. It’s called The Old Beagle Waltz and it goes a little something like this. Hope it brings a smile!”
