Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare

is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing beagles from high-kill shelters. We adopt beagles to families within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and we have also placed beagles into loving homes in Minnesota and Iowa.

If you are located outside of our service area, you can find a beagle rescue in your area here. If you are having difficulties locating a rescue, email our Director of Adoptions, and she will provide you with some suggestions.

Foster

We receive pleas on a daily basis from shelters, animal control officers, vet offices, and the general public asking for assistance in placing beagles in need. Most of the time, the request is the dog’s last chance… and if we can’t help because of our lack of foster homes, the beagle usually finds their life on the line. Unfortunately, we NEVER have enough foster homes. Will you be there to provide a temporary home, love, and guidance until their “FOREVER” home is found?

Midwest BREW is an all-volunteer organization. Our volunteers are located throughout a six state area: Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. This organization could not exist without our dedicated volunteers.

Rescued beagles need your help! We operate solely on the generosity of people like you. Big or small, every donation helps in our ability to care for these animals. We are an all-volunteer organization, and 100% of your donation goes to helping beagles in need.
