Hi! I see you out there, looking for a Beagle! I can tell you why I am the Beagle for you! I am Stella Bella, the one and only! I am about 9 months old, so I’ve already learned a lot about being a family pet. I am beautiful and have adorable big ears. I am fun, happy, friendly, lively, and curious! I prance around on my tippy toes and it is a sight to see. Of course, I am a Beagle puppy, so I have a lot of energy that needs to be spent! I need plenty of exercise including walks, playtime, running in the yard (with a secure fence) or dog park. Most of all I would like playing with you. I’m happy to share my toys when we are playing tug or fetch.

I started life as a hunting dog, and when that didn’t work out, the good people of Midwest BREW brought me in. I’m learning about house training, which things are ok to chew on and which aren’t, manners, and all things Beagle. I’m ok with the cat that lives here too! An obedience class would help us bond, and I’m hoping we can go together when you bring me home. That’s just part of the fun of owning a puppy!

I really love my toys, and tennis balls. When I first came in to my foster home, my favorite thing was to run around picking up as many toys as I could fit into my mouth! Being a little girl, that’s not very many, but it sure was fun trying! When I’m outside, I really like chasing squirrels (and any other wildlife that might come around), so I’ll need a good fence or I’ll need to be leashed whenever I’m out. Another young dog to play with would be perfect for me, although I can’t figure out why the senor dogs in my foster home don’t want to play, play, play! I’ve visited a dog park, and did well with all the other dogs there, and the humans too!

I sleep all night in my crate (I love a soft blanket to snuggle in), and am getting better at house training and manners, so I’m ready to find my forever family! Is it you? Contact Midwest BREW to find out!

NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
