Gender: Female Age: 2 years Status: Available

My name Araceli and I am a 2 year old female spayed gorgeous beagle that weighs about 30 lbs, has lots of energy and loves to get into mischief. Midwest BREW is not sure about my past (I was picked up as a stray). I am pretty much house trained but like to be taken out every 4-6 hours, and I will potty on leash or in my foster family’s fence in yard. I love everyone I have met including children. My foster dad takes me to work with him every day and I love going in the car with him. I do know how to sit on command, but I only listen when I want to. I would benefit from an obedience class and it would be a great bonding experience for us.

I have some separation anxiety so I would do better with a family that won’t leave me alone for too long, or that can take me to work. I am also crate trained although sometimes will throw a temper tantrum and whine/howl when I don’t want the fun to stop. I will not do well in an apartment. I have a high prey drive so I would not be good with cats.

For the most part I do like other dogs. I get very nervous around big dogs/multiple dogs and I hide and become withdrawn. My foster parents think it is a good idea for me to meet your dog before you decide to adopt me just to make sure we can get along. I am not beagle that can handle the dog park. I’d be fine with having “play dates” with family member’s dogs for socialization.

If you are thinking adopting me you will need to be willing to give me time and patience to adjust to my new home. I don’t like loud noises and will either hide behind my foster family’s legs or will go hide under the table and get vocal. But I promise if you give me the time I need I will be the most loving beagle you ever met and a great addition to your family.

If I sound like the perfect addition to your family, then please fill out an application. I can’t wait to meet you and finally get my forever home.
