Sven Gruenwoldt: You are a beauty Itchy!

Hi! My name is Itchy. My foster mom doesn’t know much about me except that I’m an approximately 8 year old 25 pound sweet girl beagle. I was named Itchy because I had mange and I scratched a lot. I’m almost all healed, only a few spots left to regrow some hair. I’m good with other dogs and cats. I’m a little shy with new people. I had a few accidents in the house when I first got here but I’ve figured out the routine and no accidents lately. I sleep all night.   Now I sleep in foster mom’s bed but I started in a crate. I will walk right into the crate and not make a fuss. I will sleep in there at night or while you are gone during the day. I like to eat the other dogs’ food but if you put mine down first, I will leave theirs alone. I also love treats and I will get into any snacks you forget about. Even though I’m little, I can howl super loud and sometimes follow a trail through the yard. If you call my name, I’m pretty good at listening and I will scratch at the door when I want to come in. I do pretty good on a leash. I only get slightly distracted and mostly walk straight. I’m a little nervous about car rides but will lay down nice once we get going. I can be a couch potato sometimes but still occasionally get the zoomies and love to check out the backyard with my foster siblings.

If you would like to be my furever home, have your people call my people. I can’t wait to meet you!
