When the Midwest BREW saw her trembling at the back of the shelter, they took her out of there and named her Jewels.  She trembled through all the transports, crates, etc. and finally made it to her foster home.  She is very smart, housebroken right away, gently nibbles at her kibbles, cuddles and loves to be around people all the time.  The one quirk she has is when she isn't around people and is left alone.  She goes into her nicely "furnished" crate with no problem, but the minute she finds there is no one there, she isn't a happy camper.  She has a long-curled tail and almost never barks, and is long and lanky, which could be a trait of the basenji she might be mixed with.  If you would love a companion (she loves car rides) to be by your side, Jewels would be a perfect choice!  She truly has become the "hidden gem"!

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
