I'm Hershey and I'm a 4 months old male and I will just melt into you when we snuggle. Being next to you makes me feel safe and I do best sleeping in a dog bed next to your bed. I'm happiest when I can see you and know you are near. If I need to sleep in a crate I will need more training and help from you because I do whine and bark if left in the crate because I want to be with you.

I'm learning to play with dog toys and I love wrestling with other dogs. I will need your help to learn to walk on the leash because new things can be scary. I am a smart boy though- I learned to use the doggie door in one day!

Before Midwest BREW took me into the program, I lived outside with my brother and parents so being in a house is new to me. Napping on the couch near my person has become one of my favorite things. I would do great in a home with a confident older fur sibling who can teach me and snuggle with me.

I'm a sweet snuggler who wants to be by your side. I would be happiest if someone is home most of the time. I'm good with kids and other dogs and of course snuggling!

My brother Nestle is also available for adoption in case you want to double the amount of love and adopt both of us!

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
