Sarah Bowes: Happy holidays from Sarah, Jonathan, Clive, and Pippa. Anonymous: Seniors are fabulous! Hugs & kisses! Love Charlie, a former BREW beagle. Robbyn Intemann: In memory of our beloved boy Bailey. Get well soon, Luna! Anonymous: Get better soon, Luna! We hope you find your furever family!

Luna has a charming, playful personality. She always welcomes the opportunity for a walk around the neighborhood, and afterward she is happy to claim her corner of the couch for a good nap. When it’s time for bed, she sleeps soundly in her crate and wakes with a couple of good stretches and some delighted tail wagging. She enjoys checking out the perimeter of our yard (and barking at the squirrels).

Luna is eight years old and has some health issues that will require ongoing maintenance. She has a heart murmur, which is being treated with daily medication, but it doesn't slow her down at all. She also eats a special food due to kidney issues.

She has a good appetite and is gradually increasing her weight. Housetraining is going well; her family will need to keep in mind that she drinks a lot of water and will need to go outside more often. Luna gets along fine with our resident beagle – they try to steal each other's food, but without fighting about it. They walk nicely together and share the dog beds that are scattered through the house. She is a quiet girl, saving her barks for the squirrels (our resident beagle makes enough noise for both of them).

Luna is crated when we’re not home, and sometimes during the day she'll go into her crate for a nap. Generally, however, she wants to be wherever her people are.

Luna is a cheerful, affectionate girl who is hoping to find a family she can share beagle cuddles and kisses with very soon!

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI)
