Roxy is a sweet, loving and playful girl. She is 2 years old and weighs 24 pounds. Roxy is very affectionate and loves to be with people and other dogs.  You can often find her curled up in a dog bed or on the couch with one or two dogs.  At night she likes to sleep curled up next to her humans.

Roxy enjoys wrestling and running around with Hallie, a 5 month old puppy.  She is very gentle and shares toys, sticks and bones with her.  Roxy enjoys balls, chew toys and squeaky toys.  She loves running, fetching balls and playing chase.  She is an athletic girl and can run fast and easily jumps onto things.  Roxy is potty-trained and does great in a fenced backyard.

Roxy is engaging and smart.  She likes to be with her people and has learned several ways around a baby gate to get to them including jumping it or unlatching the door.  She also learned to get around it by running down to the basement, through one gate, down the hall, through a second gate and back up a different set of stairs. She is very proud of herself when she does this!

Roxy loves to go on walks and is very friendly to everyone she meets.  She pulls on leash and her foster family is trying out no-pull harnesses to help train her. Roxy gets a little anxious in the car and does best with a tether until she relaxes.  She is generally quiet unless a dog walks by or when she is playing with the other dogs.

Roxy would love a home with a fenced backyard to run, a dog sibling to cuddle with and lots of love and attention. She would do best in an active home that is looking for a very engaging and athletic dog. This girl has so much love to give.
