Meet Bennie, a 5-year-old male beagle who is as sweet as can be. Bennie's story is both heartwarming and sad. He was owned by a kind lady who unfortunately passed away, but her family wanted to make sure he found a good forever home.

Bennie is a shy but incredibly sweet dog. He had a hard time coping with the loss of his previous owner, but with time and care, he has started to blossom into a more confident and happy dog. He walks well on a leash and is a great travel buddy in the car. However, he is not a fan of crates and prefers to have his freedom.

One of Bennie's best qualities is that he is fully house trained and can be trusted to be home alone with other dogs for multiple hours without any issues. He enjoys food and treats, and he absolutely loves cuddling on the couch with his humans. Bennie is a shadow, following his humans everywhere they go, and he knows his name well. He's still working on sitting, but otherwise, he's a polite and well-mannered pup.

Bennie gets along well with other dogs, although he's not very interested in playing with them. Bennie is also a great sleeper, snoozing through the night without making a peep.
