Sweet Elsa
We are writing to inform you that our sweet Elsa crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 15, 2025. While we knew adopting a senior beagle would mean less time with her, having to say goodbye came too soon.
Elsa was the best girl. She was sweet, gentle, silly, and shy. Elsa enjoyed rolling in the grass and soaking up the sun. She loved her daily walks, preferably no less than three per day. Even the winter weather did not deter her. She was eager to put on her winter coat and boots, because she knew it meant a walk would soon follow. Elsa was a top performing kitchen supervisor, who made sure that all cooking operations were up to code and demanded only cucumbers for pay. She loved her stuffed toys, especially her Cupig. She never chewed them but carried them from dog bed to dog bed. She was an expert sock thief. If a sock went missing, it would surely be found in a dog bed with her toys. She was also a world class rabbit tracker who let the entire neighborhood know she was on the job. She never turned down a good belly rub or back scratch. She had the cutest faces when she slept. Too many to count. We will forever miss Elsa’s light and her beautiful soul.
We are so grateful that Midwest BREW allowed us to bring her into our family almost four years ago. Thank you to her foster family who took such great care of her until she was ready for adoption. We feel very blessed that she was a part of our lives.
